Monday we posted Part One of this post.
Michael Sieben and his good buddy Elias Bingham
PNUT gives some works to the shop.
The Dennis McNett prints finally arrived, and everyone was excited to put these up for the opening. I bought two.
Thanks to those guys at No Comply!
Corey interviews Isaac McKay-Randozzi after we finish the installation.
After we finished, we headed over with Michael to see Okay Mountain, an artist based artist run gallery.
This gray door leads you there.
A bunch of us were extremely surprised and stoked to see that it was Sonny Smith's 100 records exhibition, which is in NYC at Cinder's Gallery at the moment.
We quickly cleaned up and headed back to No Comply for the opening. First photo blurry - looks like a good start. Thanks to all the Austin folks for coming out too!
We woke up the next day probably feeling the most hungover out of all the days on the trip. Perhaps we knew it was pretty much the end of the tour and only a few of us would be driving back. Specifically Isaac, Corey Adams, and me.
But right before we take off, we get a chance to eat with Michael and everyone. Then we headed to one last skate spot - Alien Pod or Pond depending on how you read the graffiti.
The alien pod pond spot was crazy. Super awesome location and tight and weird transitions and etc. I sat back and watched some of the locals kill that spot, like Michael's friend Jason. Here's another ripper.
Isaac, as you might know if you got a chance to read the article in Color Magazine, had recently learned how to drive. Here's his parking job at Alien Pond - right by the poison ivy.
Here's Graham Franciose who bought one of my wood pieces!
Right before we hit the road, Corey and Isaac had to finish up the artist interviews with Andrew and Michael.
I love the graffiti behind Michael here. So funny.
Andrew getting his interview on.
Some of our final good-byes. SHIT IS LIFE.
We head back home, driving from West Texas to Los Angeles, CA. Andrew says goodbye but gets to stay with Sieben for a couple more days before flying to Las Vegas for a bachelor party. PNUT and Phil head home from the airport. PNUT just sold his house and is moving, and Phil then goes to like Philadelphia, China and Japan. What an asshole. haha.
